Door and Window Awnings

Outrigger designs unique tensioned fabric structures to provide necessary protection in consultation with clients. Awnings can be created to provide protection for windows and doors in various shapes, colours and functionality including Cantilevered Batten or Pitched Awnings, Cantilevered Sails, Retracting Awnings with Slotted Arms, Retracting Awnings with Fixed Arms or using an existing frame or pergola and retracting vertical blinds. An Outrigger Door or Window awning is typically a rectangular shape, however it can be manufactured to almost any shape, from either 502 pvc fabric, Ferrari Soltis92 or Outlook woven pvc coated mesh.

BASIX recognises awnings for doors, windows, eaves, balconies and verandahs as shading devices as they reduce cooling loads, reducing the need for air conditioning in summer.
